Oldest Message in Bottle: Behind History’s Famous Floating Notes
National Geographic have an article on their website about how the oldest message in a bottle was found - it was set adrift 98 years ago!

It was part of an ocean current study.
It was set adrift off the coast of Scotland, and was discovered… off the coast of Scotland. 9 miles from where it was released.
Still pretty cool though.
