Alphonse Mucha - images from Le Pater

Mucha considered his publication Le Pater to be his printed masterpiece, and referred to it in The Sun of 5 January 1900 as what he had “put [his] soul into”. Printed on 20 December 1899, Le Pater was Mucha’s occult examination of the themes of The Lord’s Prayer and only 510 copies were produced.

(for more details)

Personally, I think this sort of stuff is more interesting than the usual 4 Seasons stuff.

god damn, mucha

WOWWWWW as much as i like his more iconic pieces, i have never seen this sort of style from him before and i am pretty much floored.  look at those great creatures in the first one ugh!!!  i think i’m in love

Finished Legend of Korra painting based on the sketch I did a couple weeks ago. Spent quite a bit of time on this. I can’t wait for the new show!
You can view larger at my deviantArt or purchase a print here.

This is seriously incredible.

Buggershitpissfuck.

Just realised I have been dunking my dirty paintbrushes in my cup of coffee instead of the mug of turps. And yes. I was drinking the coffee while painting.

Damn. I was enjoying that coffee.
